Our city just got fresher, livelier and more welcoming with the launch of The Commons, an outdoor gathering place nestled in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. Neka Creative developed the brand for The Commons, starting with a strategic direction reflecting the inclusive nature of this exciting new green space. They also created the new logo, identity standards, nomenclature and brand creative positioning The Commons as “Your Downtown Oasis.”

Green Minneapolis, a multi-project conservancy managing The Commons, launched an inaugural summer season as inspiring as the brand promise itself. Designed to be a common ground space for everyone, people from all communities and backgrounds are encouraged to make it their very own. They can come together to enjoy the robust lineup of happenings from music performances, children’s activities, farmers market and movie nights.
